Since I was in charge of the bulk of the planning for our wedding, The Man agreed to take care of the honeymoon… bliss! I left it almost entirely up to him, but had one request: that Napier be on the itinerary. After an earthquake devastated the city in 1931, Napier was rebuilt in the style of the day: Art Deco. I am a big fan of early 20th century design, so it was a must-do for me.
